These tuna feathers are amazing lures for tuna, dorado, mahi, marlin and wahoo! Some of the most versatile used for Pelagic Fish. Tuna feathers are a popular type of fishing lure used for catching tuna. They work well for several reasons: Imitate baitfish: Tuna feathers are designed to mimic the movement of small baitfish, which are a primary food source for tuna. The lure's colorful feathers and reflective surface also mimic the appearance of a school of baitfish, which can attract the attention of hungry tuna. Trolling: Tuna feathers are often trolled behind a moving boat at a variety of speeds. The action of the lure in the water creates a disturbance that can attract the attention of nearby tuna. The movement of the boat and the lure also simulates a school of baitfish, making it more likely that tuna will strike. Versatile: Tuna feathers are versatile and can be used to target a variety of tuna species, including yellowfin, bluefin, and albacore. They can also be used in a variety of fishing conditions, from shallow water to deep sea fishing. Cost-effective: Tuna feathers are relatively inexpensive compared to other types of fishing lures. This makes them an attractive option for anglers who want to try different types of lures without breaking the bank. Overall, tuna feathers are a highly effective fishing lure for catching tuna. Their ability to mimic the movement and appearance of baitfish, as well as their versatility and cost-effectiveness, make them a popular choice among anglers.
